The Mad Stuntman is a high voltage musical lightning rod with a singular talent for creating popular dance music. Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago as Mark Quashie, and raised in New York City since the age of 9, he has created a unique and powerful style of music that has dominated world charts and record sales around the globe. The Mad Stuntman’s journey to music industry success has been nothing less than a spectacular fairy tale handcrafted by a dream merchant.

The Mad Stuntman began exploring his musical curiosity by spitting dancehall reggae rhymes in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, utilizing anything that he could bang on to create a beat-- buckets, furniture, cars, pots and pans. His consistent objective was to create a powerful rhythm and a seductive groove. Before he knew it, The Mad Stuntman quickly became a multiplatinum sensation, selling nearly four million records and touring in over 40 countries including in South Africa, Denmark, Japan, Australia, Russia, Finland, throughout North America and the Caribbean.

The Mad Stuntman's smashing success and chart domination began with his 1994 blockbuster single, 'I Like To Move It' on the Strictly Rhythm record label. He was the vocal part of the duo Reel 2 Real working alongside legendary Dance music producer DJ Erick Morillo. The smash hit first exploded in the United Kingdom, followed by its rise on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Dance Club Play charts. It became a #1 single in Belgium, Canada, France and The Netherlands, plus it was certified Gold in France, Germany and The Netherlands
